Macritchie once again

After basketball training, Hurberg and I went for lunch at a vegetarian eating house in Aljunied before going to macrithie again.

Our original plans were to walk the 11 km trail were screwed, thanks to both the rain and the treetop walk not opening on mondays.

When Hurberg, Ben and I met at the bus stop, dillon rang and told us that he had just woken up. It was 2pm then. So, we started the trail without him and told him to catch up after that.

Near the enterance of the Nature trail, we saw monkeys scavenging near the bin. Ben wanted to take photos, but after sometime, they turned sort of aggresive and we ran past them.

The trail was rocky, watery and muddy, as it poured continuously throughout our hike. Two things to point out about my where: 1-I was wearing long pants so the water kept splashing up them, 2-my shoes were full of holes so they got waterlogged before anyone else's did.

We walked to approximately the 1.5km mark when dillon started the trail. I say, he was fast. By the time we reached 2.5km, he caught up! He ran all the way and was beat when he caught up. Fortunately Ben had a bottle of H20 to spare him. He also mentioned that he had a bad stomachache on the way so he pooed at the side of the nature trail path. WOW.

We were at the 3km mark when we realised that the rest of the trail was closed on Mondays. So, we walked along the driveway for at least a kilometre out of macritchie.

Rain these days seem to always spoil my plans. I hope that it would not rain so often this June holidays.
