Mr Sun wasn't here today, so after running two rounds around the track, we were dismissed, that implies boredom for an hour and a half.
Not so, however, because emmanuel, ryan, hurberg, benjamin, yuquan, dillon and me went to join the girls in netball.
The others were Charlene, christine, ethel, mabelle, angela, cheryl lit, joelle and narmahda when we joined.
Apparently I wasn't very good at marking; not surprising considering my size though...so I did shots instead. At first, yu quan suggested using the basketball training technique to score-throwing the ball real far, chasing after it, catch, lay-up or shoot. It did not work very well for some unknown reason. Probably the time taken to throw the ball a distance is too long such that the opposing team had far too much time to react.
The result was a tie at the end of approximately one hour fifteen minutes later. Upon the 16-18 goals, I made 4-5 of them. Yay.
Im sure we all had some fun in this. I really think we should organize more of these intra-class games. So that is the event of the day-netball.
