Hurberg and I went to Benjamin's house to complete a mathematics geometry project this afternoon.
The making of a geometrical model was quite tedious, but hard work surely paid off. After working for an hour or two with short breaks, we managed to complete a firm model of a dodecahedron(12 sided regular polyhedron) made up of toothpicks wrapped in duct tape.
For easy communication purposes, we named the sizes of duct tape we needed to make the model after people from our class. The rankings in terms of smallest to largest are as follows.
1) Ryan on a diet
2) Ryan
3) Ryan after lunch
4) Benjamin
5) Jun Kiat
6) Zhi Yang
The terms 'dillon' and 'zhan feng' means longer or shorter than usual respectively.
We talked about all sorts of stuff while constructing our model. From gaming like pardus and tribal wars to discussing about people from our class. Apparently, when we started discussing about Zhi Yang, Benjamin farted...twice, followed by Hurberg, then me, and Ben once again. After several minutes, Hurberg farted again, then me! This cycle when on for around 3 rounds? What an odd happening.
Later, we talked about how Jun Kiat was slacking, the pizza man called. We switched the topic to Ryan and then the pizza man, on the phone told us that the pizza delivery would be delayed for ten minutes...That is really strange I say.
After we finished our dodecahedron, we decided to write credits for our biology project as a form of relaxation. Here is one of them:
We have a crucial need to present our valued member Kwok Jun Kiat with unlimited gratitude for his valued contribution of his proposal to de-stress ourselves, even before the commencement of the assignment. Taking this a great step further, he propogated this utopic idea by showing us what he means, on his unbeatable attendance of meetings. Though this idea was generously declined by majority of the group members due to side effects of extreme inefficiency, we recognize him for his effort in generating such a way of thinking.
